I know I've already talked to you about this, but a link back to your account info on every page would make things a lot easier on people, especially since they're going to be more interested in posting than editing their characters at first. It'll increase usability. Trust me on this.

I think being able to see a 'last post made' function on the forum index would be a good idea, otherwise it's impossible to tell if a board's been active or if someone's posted in it since you last visited unless you actually click on the board. It's not a major problem, but it makes things more convenient, and there's less unnecessary clicking/navigation involved.

At some point in the future, a Previous Post function on the Make a Post screen would be useful, as would a Quote function.

This could probably be accomplished pretty simply by putting a Gatekeeper link in the top bar next to the navigation links. (Also, by the same logic, a forum link on the Gatekeeper management page would close the circle, so to speak.) |

Fairly cosmetic, but it would be nice if the "[Back to Board]" link was accompanied by a "Forum Index" link without having to click back through the board first.

I pitched this to Harrad a while ago on IRC, but I think In Universe advertisements would be a cool feature to add once the essential services are all up and running. We could have ads from canon corps, like Binary Helix or Armali, and players who have created CDN corporations could submit ads for them as well.

Account settings would be nice. Particularly time zones, as everything is showing up dippy-time :p
Also, post history, please. I can already see the hassle of archiving diving to remember what happened in this RP or that, and who said what without it :( May you never forget what is worth remembering, nor ever remember what is best forgotten. |
