How's it going?
How's your nerve damage? I know you've been having issues and I promised I'd try to help out.
I know of a neurosurgeon on the Citadel who performed a surgery on my spine/brain a little while- a year or so- ago.
Remember the implant issues I was undergoing? A recent physical I had after the baby revealed I've also got "something weird" in the bones of my arm.
Other doctors missed it. Early stage Phantom implants- a hardened weave and some bone tissue replacement.
So that's not fun. :(

Also, how's your baby and wife doing? Mine 's around here somewhere (sleeping, I think) and the other 's off doing god-knows-what and tearing my heart out of my chest. She had me believe she was in prison. She came up with elaborate evidence and in the end I haven't a clue what's the truth and what's not.

Let's see, Blue Suns and "ex" slaver. Yeah, no, he's very likely still in the business. Blue Suns deals heavily in the trafficking and capturing of slaves. There's also plenty of batarian only units of the Blue Suns that almost exclusively deal in the slave trade. Scrolls, some of them are descendants of infamous slave rings, like the Crimson Suns that had split off from the Crimson Chains

But let me tell you something.

I do bad things for the credits all the time.

I've burned colonies to cinders

I've held families hostage

I've robbed, stolen, and laundered

All in the name of the almighty credit.

But the thing is, I've given back. I have my limits. I have my code. I think slavery is much worse then the things I do. Others don't. That's just the way it is.

So I say fuck the slaver.

But this is your job, your money. You do what you think is right.

Alright, so, dude's almost certainly still in the business. Got it. I've decided I'm not gonna help him.

I'll be frank. I really don't get this guy. He's acting like it's no big deal. Even I'm at least a little emotionally invested in my work. (I'm a hacker, we get like that. It's a thing.) I'm not sure if the guy's a sociopath or just doesn't give a fuck. I mean, you need to be a little sociopathic to get into a slaver crew at all, but, come on. He's not even acting like he'd do anything else if he had a shot. And he's just brushing off the whole anti-slavery-vs-pro-slavery thing like it's the final score in a game of clawball.

In other words, he's not acting like virtually any other slaver I've heard of or met before, and it's extremely aggravating because I can't get pissed at the guy for it.
