what am i missing?

- how to change my email address? (if already possible, I can't find it)

- preview function before posting would be great

- ability to see previous posts while writing your own (reference checks and all that was so much easier)

- a direct "quote" function at any post would be awasome. as it is it is a bit of a hassle.

- time zone settings and display of post stats at each posting (when posted) would be helpfull


- PM function (am I missing that also? is it even there? if so, I don't get it)

Looks like my issues have all been brought up, but for emphasis: Easier page navigation (pages under thread titles etc) would be very much appreciated, as it is I have to remember to actively check to see if a thread continues past the first page. Preview function is also much missed, as is the little feed of the last couple of posts to help refresh one's memory.

Not sure if it's been mentioned (or even implemented and I've just missed it), but could we maybe get higher res 'profile pictures' for the character pages, in addition to the forum avatars. It's a shame for so much of Aprom's ace work to be constricted to the old avatar size requirements.

I think a "Who Is Online" feature would be cool, like on the old forum, but otherwise, it's all awesome.

Have the button at the bottom of the Edit Character page say "Save" and not "Edit". Fairly cosmetic, but it'll save on confusion.

Assuming it hasn't been mentioned already, maybe a "view the latest post" function like on the old forum so you could jump right to the most recent post in a forum section or a specific thread?

Actually, the lack of what Steely's suggestion was my one complaint about the forum. Adding said feature would, indeed, make things much more convenient.

Only thing that strikes me right now that would be easy to do and useful is a timestamp for each post in a thread. I know you have the most recent one on the main forum pages but I'd like to be able to get a sense of how fast threads are moving while I'm looking at one.

Other than that an easy quote button that has been mentioned already, possibly a newest posts feature, and now that I'm looking at it making a post right now, if there was some sort of way to see past post history while you're making a new post that would be great. I just tried to scroll down out of habit to check what else had been suggested already and I forgot that I can't.

An option for a cookie to be established to automatically log in (remember password)

It's just a handy thing to have.

I forgot, one more feature. Biography pages need an icon that shows whether or not that character has slept with Dippy.

The new page numbers are badical (that's half radical, and half soooooo baaaaad.) ...That Power Glove commercial reference dates me, doesn't it.

I've noticed that when I make a post and choose "return to thread", I return to the BEGINNING of the thread, not page four or whatever where my post actually is. That's going to get weird in long threads, particularly as the reason I "return to thread" is to check that my post makes sense in the context of the thread and edit if necessary, particularly if someone else has posted between the time I started writing and the time I actually posted.

A "Report" button would be nice.

EDIT: Also, the ability to look at a character's previous posts would be useful. And a search feature.

To second/third some of the previous comments, character post histories and a search function would be awesome. It's not so much of an issue at the moment, but I can see it becoming one very quickly.

This is a low priority sort of thing. But I think a delete post function would be a good idea. For those times you post in the wrong thread, double post, or make a horrible post that you want to get rid of.

The ability to see which threads I've read and which ones have new posts would be nice.

The option to receive an email notification when someone posts something to your wall.

Honestly, I'm not going to lose sleep over a lack of visible postcount, but coupled with join date, it's a nice indication of how active a poster is. I suppose the new alt system maybe makes tracking post count a little more difficult, but I thought I may as well enquire. Just a thought.

I'm currently working fixing bugs so implementing new features is a secundairy concern!

Yes this please. I really miss the button "view unread posts". It was a good way to save time and not miss new interesting threads.
