Plotlines and character development sometimes go wrong, and while it occasionally is resolved by way of the mods stepping in and ensuring there isn't a disturbance, if you think a player is struggling with their writing- if it's just your personal thoughts or if it's being talked about- or if they're having trouble keeping a plotline together, there's no harm in contacting them and seeing if they need any help.
There's advice and guidelines littered throughout the forum itself, but newer and older members alike might not get some of the finer details, and politely contacting them and offering advice is a good thing to do, if you feel it's necessary. It's preferable over making passive-aggressive jabs and jokes about their problems, and if they haven't fixed what's wrong after a certain point, then the reason is likely because they don't know what they're doing wrong. |
