While reviewing threads, the moderator team inquired into a post by user True Wisdom that appeared to violate Rule 4. After the violation was confirmed, True Wisdom was warned about doing so again.

User Mombasa Giants Fan was warned not to use non-Mass-Effect-related image macros in accordance with Rule #9.

Moderator Action for December 12, 2012: Solemn Edict of Brrrr

RememberTheBlitz and Gilgamesh were both reminded to avoid using worldbuilding resources to win at Extranet Debate, particularly when out of character.

User Hierarchy_Dad has been suspended from IRC channel #CDN for a day, following repeated religion-bashing, insults and inability to follow basic mod instruction. He is advised to stop his descent into becoming the board's next Smiffy.

Moderator Action for January 10, 2013: Ragged Red Fiber

Due to the nature of the retrospectives and the misunderstanding about the extent to which they are canon, players who introduced their characters into them by mistake were given the option to opt out of their inclusion. Abad Sam-mel, creator of the Crimson Chains, has done so, and the single sentence from which the slaving group was mentioned has been struck from the Retrospective “A Review of the Financial Situation of the Interests of the Vol Protectorate and its Allies.”

Aside from Abad once more heading the organization, this should have minimal impact on gameplay.

Moderator Action for January 16, 2013: Runtime Error

The character WindowsSuck has been locked until or unless the player behind it sends an approved geth character concept.

This is the only disciplinary action at this time. The player him/herself has not been banned.

User "The Galaxy Weekly" has been warned to avoid mocking inexperienced players, particularly by violating forum rules (specifically, Rule #4) himself. The offending article, "Gunfight in progress in Zakera Ward, Citadel," has been removed.

User Bordacit was warned for breaking Rule #4 of the Forums by means of attempting to muscle in on another RP. Remember, if you want to join someone's game, ask them before storming the shores.

User Palmer has been reprimanded over unacceptable escalation of their character's wealth, status, fame, and power in potential threat to Rule 3 (the "Special Snowflake" clause ) and asked to take immediate action in correcting this power creep.

Moderator Action for February 10, 2013: The Sherman Antitrust Act of 2188

User Bordacit was reminded that his character does not have so much money that he can sling 12 million credits on a single business venture, much less on a curious "thing," as this would be a violation of Rule #7 of the forums. As he was warned multiple times over the past week (and indeed, in the very same thread) about violating Rule #4 as well, his next infraction will result in a week's suspension. It is in this moderator's hope that this will not be necessary, and that he will not require a week to properly internalize rules that every other member of the forum is able to follow.

User SkullKrusherKrogan was reminded that the events of the bomb mission on Tuchanka were specifically meant to avoid any information regarding a bomb on Tuchanka to leak - a good rule of thumb in bringing information from ME3 into the forum is to observe context before including it in a post.
