HardDrop54 5 Mob Inf.

I'm a Leaper, baby.
So I was reading this article on the BBC, and I thought 'hmm, sounds familiar'.

Then I noticed the article linked at the bottom and I thought, 'HMM, sounds familiar!' In particular, "If the trigger is pressed, it only fires if the gun is correctly lined up.

This prevents errors such as trigger jerk, range miscalculation and accidental firing from being a problem.

In addition, a Linux-based computer built into the scope can compensate for 16 calculated variables, including temperature, the expected spin-drift of the bullet and the direction the wind is blowing."

Seriously, it's like Mass Effect (minus the aliens, physics defying magic, casual space travel and lens flare) is starting to happen right before our eyes. Awesome.

I would have to sink weeks just to get up to speed with arduino programming alone. Good thing these boards supports an abstract language and you don't have to put in the code as assembly code...
Yeah I am boring you with tech am I?

http://www.nytimes.com/2014/03/18/science/space/detection-of-waves-in-space-buttresses-landmark-theory-of-big-bang.html?ref=science&_r=1

University of Stanford released today their much-rumoured report of first detection of gravitational waves.

Einstein's theory of relativity predicted these waves, and they, along with the background microwave radiation are echoes from the beginning of time from when the Universe expanded rapidly from the tiny, tiny dot it was.

It's one step closer to spotting gravitons, the particles that relay effects of gravity and possibly knowing more of dark matter and energy.

Practical applications probably won't be coming from this in ages, but scientifically this is humongous discovery to understanding how the universe works and where it came from.
