Miralatriarch What do you think would happen if the asari turned around to the rest of the galaxy and said "hey, look, we had this thing all along, silly us"? It would, in one move, turn the civilised galaxy against us - the political equivalent of walking through the den of a [TRANSLATION ERROR: did you mean "hamster"?] holding a [TRANSLATION ERROR: did you mean "beetroot"?]. I can't argue with that, Mr Emon. My assessment was, admittedly, rather optimistic - it's far more likely that they were remaining true to the old adage of "all those with power fear to lose it". Such "wise" and "experienced" leaders really should have known better - but then again, age is a poor measure of wisdom. A foolish asari who makes it to the matriarch stage merely becomes an old fool.
