Vigilante Justice Recruitment Time

If anyone would care to show up there if you got a character nearby cool, although I'm probably gonna be updating the post anyway just to keep it alive and fill in a few blanks.

However, afterwards Vik is going to be holding... tryouts for recruits to join his little band of Abolitionists/Freedom Fighters. So I'm posting this here to see if anyone would be interested. I'm hoping some folks are. Paragons are expected, but renegades can join too. Just don't expect to get in unless you prove to "Vik" you're the kind of person he's looking for. The main criteria is hating slavers and general scum, but Vik's an idealist and you know how they are. Soi preliminary stuff at the moment, anyone who feels like they're up for some crazy little adventures feel free to join. Just know that they probably won't be big on firefights. Yes, action will happen, but expect things to be more subtle, less bombastic and probably mroe along the lines of sneaking and hitting and running among others. Vik is a Quarian after all, he has certain limitations to him that can't be ignored. That's mainly why he needs crewmates, people who can take punishment and don't need suits to survive.

And Sandman, if you're out there, I'm here and I can start that thing we talked about whenever you're ready. Just drop me a line... however it is we do that now.

Also, if anyone cares to share, I'm thinking of getting a new Avatar, anyone willing to help?

Don't take this the wrong way, but... It looks like you're making AEGIS?

Not really, AEGIS is big super commando raid things. This is a bit more... well I hesistate to say it cause it sounds really.. nerdy and pompous... yeah mostly seemingly pompous or trying to make it sound better or comparing myself to a superior work... but it's kinda more like Firefly.

So uh basically less mercenary-like more off the cuff and smaller. Like not many ships, fewer people at the start.

I suppose you can make comparisons. Since Vik did draw inspiration from AEGIS after they helped him kill his former slave master Sarok Mutoff... which was back on the old board and stuff.

I have an idea where I want to take all this though and it's not really in the same vein as Gorik's AEGIS. I don't like spoiling so I can't really explain more than that, but basically because Vik's a Quarian he can't really risk himself in the same vein Gorik can. So he has to play... more to his strengths as a hacker and former security officer aboard a small warship.

For you? Most likely given your character's occupation, however I will not suddenly show up and god mod it so you're dead in five days. No, I will contact you if I decide our characters should butt heads. Or if you would like to see it that would be okay too. We could then work out the details and see how the conflict unfolds from there. Hopefully in a way everyone can enjoy. However, that's not gonna be for awhile either way because there are other things I want to do first.. So, yeah, no worries until then.

Hates slavers? Check. Idealistic? Check. Better with subtler rather than action stuff? Check. I might just sign up for this if that's alright.

No it's great, Vik could use some human friends. Although it is kinda hard to get in touch with some of the people I wanna ask directly at the moment. I'll make sure to let everyone know when the "recruitment" begins in earnest. I'll keep your name on the list Prayer.
