Casting call

So as many of you who frequent the IRC know, I've had this idea floating around for a while now. C-Sec characters have never really had enough to do, despite them being the highly trained elite police force that we know them as. Because of this, I will be doing a series of RP scenarios revolving around crime in the Citadel, which has likely grown worse due to the damage to the citadel and loss of officers in it's security force.

The basic premise is that I will start the thread with an opening post that lays down the scenario and after that, the thread is open to everyone doing anything within reason. You could be an undercover detective in a drug deal scenario or a quick response force breaking down the door to the mansion of a known financial criminal. After the scenario is over, with an arrest or the person escaping, a trial and final report will be done with the character for this account, with witnesses, prosecution and defense teams.

So, along with any questions of the premise of this, I'm also looking for a volunteer for a role in the first of these. The role is the Defendant, to keep it as ambiguous as possible. It's first come first serve and I will pm you the basic premise of how you will be involved. Everyone else involved will be either NPCS controlled by me or anyone else that wants to joina s the threads will be open.

Excellent. Just to let everyone know for the future, to volunteer for these roles you should probably use an npc account to avoid confusion about actions made by certain characters. (Wouldn't want a C-Sec officer be associated with a drug baron by mistake now would we?)

Consider this my blessing on this project. Just don't make it a total ripoff of the show, okay? :D

This sounds really awesome! While I don't have any C-Sec characters, I'd like to get involved, using an NPC, or maybe even my character, if you ever need anyone.

C-Sec officers will have a chance to collect evidence and question the victim before the story branches out a bit in to the true investigative scenery. Civilians are also encouraged. People love to rubberneck at a good crime scene.

Remember guys, completely open, anyone within reason is allowed to post.

Ok people, it would appear we have a problem. Without any dedicated players in the first thread, it would seem it's open status isn't getting it any posters. I'll let it sit for another day before I make any actual changes, but basically what I'm thinking is just making a dedicated detective group for the arc so that we can get a more regulated posting schedule. The threads will still be open to regular C-sec officers and anyone else that might have a purpose in the thread, but now there'll be a group dedicated to driving the investigation plots around.

So, anyone who's interested in making such an account post below with the name of the character you're making so I know who to write down. Also, hit me up on the IRC as soon as you can after that so that I can explain in more detail. I already have a couple of players involved in the court side of things writing that up, but if you're interested in that as well, also hit me up in the IRC.
