Biography

Jacob Frost is a first-generation clone, made by one of a certain Asari Matriarch's research divisions after they stumbled across a human cryo-sleeper ship that had been declared derelict some indeterminable time ago (possibly the mid to late 21st century), and discovered 30 years ago.

He is the product of one of many of this division's highly illegal but comparatively tame genetic experiments, of which the human species is only the most recent target. Their goal was to improve on all physical, mental, and biotic attributes by 1% over the base species being experimented on. Jake, possessing generously referred to as .5% increase on several attributes, is a living example of what a semi-successful failure in this field actually looks like, as opposed to the psychotic destructive monsters most often portrayed in science fiction tales where mockeries of similar practices are carried out. In fact, seeing these fictional portrayals tends to disturb him a great deal. The later generations of these genetic experiments on humans all refer to him as "Big Brother".

His memories of the time between his first gaining awareness and his early adulthood are sketchy and messy at best, but that's really a common trait that doesn't typically garner attention. His most distinguishing characteristics are his incomparable driving skill, his uncommon grace in both action and speech, and the fact that he looks like someone stuck a powerful woman's head on a man's body.

In any situation where he is not driving, he does everything he can to be personable and congenial, but when he drives he behaves like he owns the roads. Although, there is good reason for this attitude. He is one of extremely few owners of the highly expensive, and dangerous to even pursue, Black License-Driving. There are Black Licenses for handling other dangerous equipment (such as one for every weapon type), but due to the requirements to obtain one -namely participation in a state-sponsoring (should mention that the money goes *to* the state in question, not the other way around), deadly competition that demands nothing less than the peak of skill- the possibility of meeting a person who has one and finding out about it is considered about equal with winning a major lottery. And encountering a person with two is considered about equal with having a run-in with God. Most people outside of law enforcement aren't even aware these licenses exist, and most owners of these licenses believe it's impossible for anyone to have more than one, considering that the wise option is to "retire" instead of retaking the test for the five-year renewal.
